Background
Sonny joined Fernandes Hearn LLP after practicing
with a boutique commercial litigation firm in downtown Toronto where
his practice focused on civil litigation and competition law.
Sonny is a graduate of the Dalhousie University law
school where he was a member of the Laskin Competitive Moot Team
and a Chambers Clerk of the Nova Supreme Court.
Sonny has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada,
the Federal Court of Appeal, the Competition Tribunal, the Ontario
Court of Appeal, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Superior
Court of Justice and various administrative tribunals.
