Background

Kim joined Fernandes Hearn LLP after articling with a mid-size full-service firm in downtown Toronto. During her articles, Kim gained experience in a broad range of civil litigation including contract disputes, trusts, torts, administrative law, and employment law.

Kim attended law school at Queen's University and received her J.D. in 2008. While at Queen's, Kim participated with success in the Fasken Martineau First Year International Law Moot and the Niagara International Law Moot. Kim also attended the International Study Centre in Herstmonceux, U.K. where she obtained a Certificate in Public International Law in 2006.

Kim graduated from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce, with Distinction. While at the University of Calgary, Kim studied international business, risk management and insurance, and finance.
