Background

Ms. Verconich joined the firm in her articling year, having completed her legal studies at the University of Victoria in April of 2006. She practices in the areas of civil and insurance litigation and transportation law.

While attending law school, Ms. Verconich participated in the 2005-2006 Wilson Moot, in the Federal Court. She also spent a semester working as a Hearings Officer in the Immigration Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Verconich was awarded several scholarships, including the 2003 Professor W. Russell Maxwell Memorial Scholarship for academic achievement in the Department of Economics. Before she began her legal studies, Ms. Verconich spent her summers working in the field of insurance.
